This hotel, the tallest in the world, is located in the center of Shanghai's new economic development zone in Pudong. The Grand Hyatt Shanghai is situated in the tallest building in China, the second tallest building in Asia and one of the most spectacular buildings in Shanghai.
The hotel itself does not even begin until you are almost half way up the building, but the elevators here travel incredibly fast so hold on to your hats! The Hotel enjoys a good geographical location -- 25 km from Hongqiao International Airport, 26 km from Pudong International Airport, 12 km from Shanghai Railway Station and 6 km from the center of the city. Transport over to Pudong from Puxi is now good.
The hotel has 555 suites and it is no exaggeration to say that they are the most superior and the largest suites in Shanghai.
