Starting from July 1, Emirate Airlines will open regular return trip flights from Dubai to Guangzhou. From July 1 to September 27, there is to be one round trip flight from Dubai to Guangzhou (numbered EK44) which is scheduled to land in Guangzhou at 22:20. The Flight EK4 from Guangzhou to Dubai is scheduled to depart Guangzhou at 23:55.

In addition, starting from July 1, the AIR ASIA Company Limited will add one more daily flight to its original regular Kuala Lumpur-Guangzhou round trip flight schedule. The AK44 flight from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou leaves Kuala Lumpur at 16:10 and arrives in Guangzhou at 20:05. And the flight number AK45 flight from Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur leaves Guangzhou at 20:35 and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 00:30 the next early morning. The tickets are priced at about half of the original regular fares at RMB 425 or 535 for single trips.
