The Autumn Canton Fair is just a few days away. Air tickets from some big cities in eastern China such as Wenzhou have increased by as much as 40%, according Guangzhou's travel agencies. Prices from other destinations such as Kunming and Guilin remain low with some having a discount of 70% or even 75%.

As of today, Oct. 12th, air tickets to Guangzhou will be specially priced due to the Canton Fair. Tickets from some major business cities to Guangzhou such as Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou have been influenced by the event, but with discounts of only 20%, much lower than the former 70% - 75%.

Prices will return to normal in November after the Canton Fair closes.
