According to the telephone interviews and investigations of 120 families of Guangzhou, 74% citizens plan to travel during 7-day National Day holiday, much more than that of last year. The average budget of the traveling reaches RMB 4,338 yuan (US Dollar 577.6). 83% interviewees admitted that they had to take the rise of the commodity price into consideration when they made travel plans.

The statistics show that 60% citizens chose to travel overseas, and the first choice of outbound travel destination is the Southeast Asia.

It is expected that hundreds of thousands local citizens will set out traveling today, at the same time, tens of thousands tourists from other cities will arrive at Guangzhou.

Besides, helicopter and yacht renting are also very popular. The rent of a yacht increases from RMB 2,500 (US Dollar 332.9)/h to RMB 2,800 (US Dollar yuan 372.8)/h. According to Panyu Lion Marina Club, all the yachts have been booked until the latter half of the Golden Week.
